Besorah L'Yochanan (John)

Introduction

Introduction to Besorah Tovah Yochanan (The Gospel of John)

Within the Framework of the Ivri Heritage Bible

The text presented here is an authentic rendering of the witness of Yochanan, structurally designated within The Ivri Heritage Bible to serve as the definitive prophetic, administrative, and cosmological anchor for the assembly (Kehillah) awaiting the righteous Mishpat (judgment) of the Most High. Positioned not merely as a historical chronicle, but as a majestic cosmic blueprint, this book unveils the primordial reality of the Davar (Word) who was made flesh and tabernacled among us. Delivered through twenty-one chapters of empirical eyewitness testimony, supernatural signs, and deep covenantal discourses, this text transforms our understanding of creation, priesthood, and kingdom life into a strict, unified, and priestly constitution for the set-apart remnant.

Textual Methodology: Restoring the Ancient Path

As a foundational text within The Ivri Heritage Bible, this edition of the Gospel of Yochanan utilizes a meticulous comparative textual methodology designed to strip away centuries of Western, Greco-Roman, and Eurocentric theological varnish, restoring the original Lashon Khodesh (Holy Tongue) concepts directly to the text.

The Authority of the Primordial Word and Eyewitness Account

While standard Western translations view this Gospel through an abstract, Hellenistic philosophical framework, this edition anchors the narrative in the uncompromised Hebraic cosmic lineage. The book opens not with a human genealogy, but with a structural tie back to the Reshit (Beginning), identifying the Davar as the immediate Agent of all creation. By preserving the eyewitness testimonies of the early talmidim (disciples), the text maintains an uncorrupted line of spiritual authority that perfectly aligns with the broad prophetic stream of the Ivri Heritage collection.

Correcting the Omissions and Truncations of Late Copyists

A primary reason The Ivri Heritage Bible prioritizes ancient textual families over late revisions is to expose and correct intentional theological distortions. In standard modern translations, the explicit structural relationship between the law, signs, and the supernatural reality of the resurrection was heavily obscured. This text brings back to remembrance the absolute clarity of the pristine Israelite faith: 1. The Fulfillment of the Torah and Prophets — The text demonstrates that Yeshua is explicitly recognized by Philip and Natan’el as the One of whom Moshe (Moses) in the Torah and the Nevi’im (Prophets) did write, showing a seamless continuity of covenantal law. 2. The Restored Identity of Temple and Sabbath — The text corrects the late rabbinic and secular misunderstandings of the temple, identifying the heikhal (temple-sanctuary) fundamentally with the body of the Messiah, while presenting His healing works as the supreme manifestation of the Father's continuous Shabbat activity. 3. The Reality of the Techiyat ha’Metim (Resurrection) — Through the physical raising of El‘azar (Lazarus) after four days in the grave, the narrative forcefully establishes the concrete reality of the resurrection at the Acharit ha’Yamim (Last Day), shattering early sectarian skepticism.

Hebraic Messianic Nazarene Wordings

While adhering to the layout preserved by the truest historical witnesses, this translation completely eliminates Westernized, church-centric nomenclature. By implementing a strictly Hebraic Messianic Nazarene vocabulary, the text restores the original context directly to the reader, replacing Hellenized titles with original terms:  Yeshua ha’Mashiach: Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Ben (Son) who declares the Father.  Ha’Av / Elohim: The Father and God, the Source of the Davar and the Sender of the true Light.  Ruach ha’Kodesh / Menachem: The Holy Spirit and the Comforter, sent in the Name of the Messiah to teach all things and guide the remnant into all Emet (Truth).  Seh ha’Elohim: The Lamb of God, who carries out the ultimate Kapparah (atonement) to take away the sin of the world.

Core Theological Themes and Structural Blueprint

The layout of the Chapters 1 through 21 forms a complete mathematical, historical, and apocalyptic manual for a set-apart society. Within this edition, the text is organized around four major spiritual and administrative pillars:

1. The Incarnation of the Davar and the Witness of Yochanan (Chapter 1)

The book opens with a cosmic prologue, placing the Davar as co-eternal with Elohim and the Source of Chayim (Life) and Or (Light). It maps out the mission of Yochanan the Immerser, who arrives out of the wilderness as a voice crying to make straight the way of Adonai. This section outlines the structural shift from the law given through Moshe to the full manifestation of Chen (grace) and Emet appearing through Yeshua, prompting the first talmidim to recognize Him as the Melech Yisrael (King of Israel).

2. The Seven Otot and the Purification of Worship (Chapters 2–11)

The narrative tracks the public ministry of the Messiah through seven definitive otot (signs) that manifest His Kavod (glory). This operational pattern moves from turning water to yayin (wine) at Kana, to cleansing the Beit ha’Mikdash (Temple) from commercial pollution, and instructing Nakdimon (Nicodemus) on the necessity of being born of mayim (water) and the Ruach. Whether offering Mayim Chayim (Living Water) to the woman of Shomron, declaring Himself the Lechem ha’Chayim (Bread of Life), or calling El‘azar forth from the grave, Yeshua consistently exposes the empty rituals of the world, replacing them with worship executed in spirit and in truth.

3. The Upper Room Discourse and the True Vine Priesthood (Chapters 12–16)

The text transitions into an intimate, administrative training manual for the leadership of the Kehillah. Beginning with the prophetic washing of the disciples' feet, Yeshua models the humility required of the true priesthood and issues the new mitzvah (commandment) to love one another. He identifies Himself as the Gefen ha’Amitit (True Vine), commanding the remnant to abide structurally in Him to bear lasting fruit. The section blueprints the operational environment of the coming Menachem (the Spirit of Truth), who will convict the olam (world) and protect the assembly from stumbling amidst upcoming tribulations.

4. The High Priestly Prayer, Physical Passion, and Resurrection Triumph (Chapters 17–21)

3

Uniquely combining thematic arcs that are profoundly likened to the book of Exodus and the book of Revelation, the text culminates in the absolute legal and physical triumph of the King. Chapter 17 preserves the great High Priestly intercession, praying for the absolute echad (oneness) of the sanctified remnant. Mirroring the historical liberation of Exodus and the apocalyptic triumph of Revelation, the narrative records the betrayal, the bold trial before Pilate where Yeshua affirms His unearthly Malkut (Kingdom), and the sacrifice upon the etz (cross) where He decrees "Kala" (It is finished). The book closes with the physical resurrection, the breathing of the Ruach ha'Kodesh upon the assembled leaders, and the restoring charge at the Sea of Teveryah to feed His sheep, sealing the record in unshakeable truth.

Glossary of Key Restored Terms

To grasp the authentic covenantal depth of the Besorah of Yochanan within The Ivri Heritage Bible, the reader should understand the following key terms:  Davar / Or / Chayim: Word, Light, and Life; the foundational, pre-existent attributes of the Messiah that shatter the choshech (darkness) of the world.  Seh ha’Elohim: The Lamb of God; the clean sacrificial focus destined to take away the transgression of the earth.  Otot: Signs; the supernatural, visible disruptions of natural order executed by the Messiah to manifest His divine authority and produce emunah (faith).  Mayim Chayim / Lechem ha’Chayim: Living Water and Bread of Life; the spiritual elements of sustenance that permanently satisfy the hungry and thirsty soul.  Techiyat ha‘Metim: The Resurrection of the Dead; the definitive historical and eschatological physical raising of the physical body.  Menachem / Ruach ha’Emet: Comforter / Spirit of Truth; the internal corporate Guide sent by the Father to preserve, teach, and remind the assembly of the commands.  Echad / Shalom: One and Peace; the perfect, uncompromised structural unity between the Father, the Son, and the remnant, producing complete restoration.

Through this restored, Hebraic, and pre-Masoretic lens, the text of this Gospel stands revealed not as an obscured, Greco-Roman philosophical work, but as the active, authoritative, and chronological blueprint for the preservation of our genuine heritage, the unmasking of wickedness, and the realization of righteousness under the unchanging clock of the Almighty.

11 In the beginning was the Davar (Word), and the Davar was with Elohim (God), and the Davar was Elohim . 22 The same was in the beginning with Elohim . 33 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 44 In him was Chayim (life), and the Chayim was the Or (light) of men. 55 And the Or shines in the choshech (darkness), and the choshech did not comprehend it. 66 There was a man sent from Elohim , whose name was Yochanan (John). 77 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Or , that all men through him might believe. 88 He was not that Or , but was sent to bear witness of that Or . 99 That was the true Or , which gives light to every man that comes into the world. 1010 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 1111 He came to his own, and his own received him not. 1212 But as many as received him, to them he gave authority to become the sons of Elohim , even to them that believe on his Shem (Name): 1313 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim . 1414 And the Davar was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his Kavod [glory], the Kavod as of the only begotten of the Av [Father]), full of Chen (grace) and Emet (truth). 1515 Yochanan bore witness of him, and cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I spoke: He that comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before me." 1616 And of his fullness have we all received, and Chen upon Chen . 1717 For the Torah (Law) was given through Moshe (Moses), but Chen and Emet came through Yeshua ha'Mashiach (Jesus the Christ). 1818 No man has seen Elohim at any time; the only begotten Ben (Son), who is in the bosom of the Av , he has declared him. 1919 And this is the witness of Yochanan , when the Yehudim (Jews) sent Kohanim (priests) and Levi'im (Levites) from Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) to ask him, "Who are you?" 2020 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, "I am not the Mashiach ." 2121 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Eliyahu (Elijah)?" And he said, "I am not." "Are you that Prophet?" And he answered, "No." 2222 Then they said to him, "Who are you? — so that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?" 2323 He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Make straight the way of Adonai (the Lord),' as said the prophet Yeshayahu (Isaiah)." 2424 And those who were sent were of the Perushim (Pharisees). 2525 And they asked him, and said to him, "Why then do you immerse, if you are not the Mashiach , nor Eliyahu , nor that Prophet?" 2626 Yochanan answered them, saying, "I immerse in water, but there stands one among you, whom you do not know: 2727 he it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loosen." 2828 These things were done in Beit Avarah (Bethabara) beyond the Yarden (Jordan), where Yochanan was immersing. 2929 The next day, Yochanan sees Yeshua coming to him, and says, "Behold the Seh ha'Elohim (Lamb of God), which takes away the sin of the world! 3030 This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me.' 3131 And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Yisrael (Israel), therefore I came immersing in water." 3232 And Yochanan bore witness, saying, "I saw the Ruach (Spirit) descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 3333 And I knew him not: but he who sent me to immerse in water, the same said to me, 'Upon whom you shall see the Ruach descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who immerses in the Ruach ha'Kodesh (the Holy Spirit).' 3434 And I saw, and bore witness, that this is the Ben Elohim (Son of God)." 3535 Again the next day after, Yochanan stood, and two of his talmidim (disciples). 3636 And looking upon Yeshua as he walked, he says, "Behold the Seh ha'Elohim !" 3737 And the two talmidim heard him speak, and they followed Yeshua . 3838 Then Yeshua turned, and saw them following, and says to them, "What do you seek?" They said to him, " Rabbi (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), where are you staying?" 3939 He says to them, "Come and see." They came and saw where he was staying, and remained with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. 4040 One of the two who heard Yochanan speak, and followed him, was Andreas (Andrew), Shimon Kefa's (Simon Peter's) brother. 4141 He first finds his own brother Shimon , and says to him, "We have found the Mashiach " (which is, being interpreted, the Christ ). 4242 And he brought him to Yeshua . And when Yeshua looked at him, he said, "You are Shimon the son of Yochanan ; you shall be called Kefa (Cephas, a stone)." 4343 The day following, Yeshua would go forth into the Galil (Galilee), and finds Philip , and says to him, "Follow me." 4444 Now Philip was from Beit-Tzaidah (Bethsaida), the city of Andreas and Kefa . 4545 Philip finds Natan'el (Nathanael), and says to him, "We have found him of whom Moshe in the Torah , and the Nevi'im (Prophets), did write — Yeshua of Netzaret (Nazareth), the son of Yosef (Joseph)." 4646 And Natan'el said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Netzaret ?" Philip says to him, "Come and see." 4747 Yeshua saw Natan'el coming to him, and says of him, "Behold an Yisraeli (Israelite) indeed, in whom is no guile!" 4848 Natan'el says to him, "From where do you know me?" Yeshua answered, and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you." 4949 Natan'el answered, and says to him, "Rabbi , you are the Ben Elohim ! You are the Melekh (King) of Yisrael !" 5050 Yeshua answered, and said to him, "Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these." 5151 And he says to him, " Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you: Hereafter you shall see heaven opened, and the mal'akhim (angels) of Elohim ascending and descending upon the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man)."

11 And on the third day there was a wedding in Kana (Cana) of the Galil (Galilee), and the mother of Yeshua was there. 22 And both Yeshua was invited, and his talmidim (disciples), to the wedding. 33 And when they wanted yayin (wine), the mother of Yeshua said to him, "They have no yayin ." 44 Yeshua said to her, " Isha (Woman), what have I to do with you? My sha'ah (hour) is not yet come." 55 His mother said to the servants, "Whatever he says to you, do it." 66 And there were set there six stone water jars, after the manner of the purifying of the Yehudim (Jews), each holding two or three firkins (measures). 77 Yeshua said to them, "Fill the water jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. 88 And he said to them, "Draw out now, and carry to the sar ha'mishteh (governor of the feast)." And they carried it. 99 When the sar ha'mishteh had tasted the water that was made yayin , and knew not where it came from (but the servants which drew the water knew), the sar ha'mishteh called the chatan (bridegroom), 1010 and said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good yayin , and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but you have kept the good yayin until now." 1111 This beginning of otot (signs) did Yeshua in Kana of the Galil , and manifested his Kavod (glory); and his talmidim believed on him. 1212 After this he went down to K'far Nachum (Capernaum), he and his mother, and his brothers, and his talmidim ; and they continued there not many days. 1313 And the Pesach (Passover) of the Yehudim was at hand, and Yeshua went up to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). 1414 And he found in the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple) those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting. 1515 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the Beit ha'Mikdash , and the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables, 1616 and said to those that sold doves, "Take these things away; make not Beit Avi (my Father's house) a house of merchandise." 1717 And his talmidim remembered that it was written, " Kin'at Beitecha (The zeal of your house) has eaten me up." 1818 Then answered the Yehudim and said to him, "What ot (sign) do you show us, seeing that you do these things?" 1919 Yeshua answered and said to them, "Destroy this heikhal (temple-sanctuary), and in three days I will raise it up." 2020 Then said the Yehudim , "Forty and six years was this Beit ha'Mikdash in building, and will you rear it up in three days?" 2121 But he spoke of the heikhal of his body. 2222 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his talmidim remembered that he had said this to them; and they believed the Ketuvim (Scriptures), and the word which Yeshua had said. 2323 Now when he was in Yerushalayim at the Pesach , in the Chag (Feast) day, many believed in his Shem (Name), when they saw the otot (signs) which he did. 2424 But Yeshua did not commit himself to them, because he knew all men, 2525 and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in the lev (heart) of man.

11 There was a man of the Perushim (Pharisees), named Nakdimon (Nicodemus), a ruler of the Yehudim (Jews). 22 The same came to Yeshua by night, and said to him, " Rabbi , we know that you are a teacher come from Elohim : for no man can do these otot (signs) that you do, except Elohim be with him." 33 Yeshua answered and said to him, " Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, except a man be born anew, he cannot see the Malchut Elohim (Kingdom of God)." 44 Nakdimon said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 55 Yeshua answered, " Amein , amein I say to you, except a man be born of mayim (water) and of the Ruach (Spirit), he cannot enter into the Malchut Elohim . 66 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Ruach is ruach (spirit). 77 Marvel not that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' 88 The ruach (wind) blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell from where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Ruach ." 99 Nakdimon answered and said to him, "How can these things be?" 1010 Yeshua answered and said to him, "Are you a teacher of Yisrael , and do not know these things? 1111 Amein , amein I say to you, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness. 1212 If I have told you earthly things, and you do not believe, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things? 1313 And no man has ascended up to Shamayim (heaven), but he that came down from Shamayim , even the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man) which is in Shamayim . 1414 And as Moshe (Moses) lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Ben ha'Adam be lifted up: 1515 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have Chayei Olam (eternal life). 1616 For Elohim so loved the olam (world), that he gave his Ben Yachid (only begotten Son), that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have Chayei Olam . 1717 For Elohim sent not his Ben into the olam to condemn the olam ; but that the olam through him might be saved. 1818 He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Shem (Name) of the Ben Yachid of Elohim . 1919 And this is the condemnation: that Or (light) is come into the olam , and men loved choshech (darkness) rather than Or , because their deeds were evil. 2020 For every one that does evil hates the Or , neither comes to the Or , lest his deeds should be exposed. 2121 But he that does Emet (truth) comes to the Or , that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim . 2222 After these things, came Yeshua and his talmidim (disciples) into the land of Yehudah (Judea); and there he stayed with them, and immersed. 2323 And Yochanan (John) also was immersing in Ainon near Salim , because there was much water there: and they came, and were immersed. 2424 For Yochanan was not yet cast into prison. 2525 Then there arose a question between some of Yochanan's talmidim and the Yehudim about purifying. 2626 And they came to Yochanan , and said to him, " Rabbi , he that was with you beyond the Yarden (Jordan), to whom you bore witness, behold, the same immerses, and all men come to him." 2727 Yochanan answered and said, "A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from Shamayim . 2828 You yourselves bear me witness that I said, 'I am not the Mashiach , but that I am sent before him.' 2929 He that has the bride is the chatan (bridegroom): but the friend of the chatan , which stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the chatan's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 3030 He must increase, but I must decrease." 3131 He that comes from above is above all: he that is from the aretz (earth) is earthly, and speaks of the aretz : he that comes from Shamayim is above all. 3232 And what he has seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony. 3333 He that has received his testimony has set his seal that Elohim is true. 3434 For he whom Elohim has sent speaks the words of Elohim: for Elohim gives not the Ruach by measure to him. 3535 The Av (Father) loves the Ben (Son), and has given all things into his hand. 3636 The one believing in the Ben has Chayei Olam; but the one disobeying the Ben will not see life, but the charon af Elohim (wrath of God) remains upon him.

11 When therefore the Adon (Lord) knew how the Perushim (Pharisees) had heard that Yeshua made and immersed more talmidim (disciples) than Yochanan (John), 22 (Though Yeshua himself immersed not, but his talmidim ), 33 He left Yehudah (Judea), and departed again into the Galil (Galilee). 44 And he must needs go through Shomron (Samaria). 55 Then he came to a city of Shomron , which is called Shechem (Sychar), near to the parcel of ground that Ya'akov (Jacob) gave to his son Yosef (Joseph). 66 Now Ya'akov's Well was there. Yeshua therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 77 There came a woman of Shomron to draw water. Yeshua said to her, "Give me to drink." 88 For his talmidim were gone away to the city to buy food. 99 Then said the woman of Shomron to him, "How is it that you, being a Yehudi (Jew), ask drink of me, who am a woman of Shomron ? For the Yehudim have no dealings with the Shomronim (Samaritans)." 1010 Yeshua answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of Elohim , and who it is that says to you, 'Give me to drink,' you would have asked of him, and he would have given you Mayim Chayim (living water)." 1111 The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from where then have you that Mayim Chayim ? 1212 Are you greater than our father Ya'akov , who gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?" 1313 Yeshua answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: 1414 But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into Chayei Olam (everlasting life)." 1515 The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come here to draw." 1616 Yeshua said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here." 1717 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Yeshua said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband': 1818 For you have had five husbands, and he whom you now have is not your husband: in that you spoke truly." 1919 The woman said to him, "Sir, I perceive that you are a navi (prophet). 2020 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and you say that in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) is the place where men ought to worship." 2121 Yeshua said to her, " Isha (Woman), believe me, the hour comes when you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Yerushalayim , worship the Av (Father). 2222 You worship what you know not: we know what we worship, for Yeshu'ah (salvation) is of the Yehudim . 2323 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Av in Ruach (spirit) and in Emet (truth): for the Av seeks such to worship him. 2424 Elohim is Ruach , and they that worship him must worship him in Ruach and in Emet ." 2525 The woman said to him, "I know that Mashiach comes, who is called Messias : when he is come, he will tell us all things." 2626 Yeshua said to her, "I that speak to you am he." 2727 And upon this came his talmidim , and marveled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, "What do you seek?" or, "Why do you talk with her?" 2828 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and said to the men, 2929 "Come, see a man who told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Mashiach ?" 3030 Then they went out of the city, and came to him. 3131 In the meanwhile his talmidim urged him, saying, " Rabbi , eat." 3232 But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you know not of." 3333 Therefore said the talmidim one to another, "Has any man brought him anything to eat?" 3434 Yeshua said to them, "My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 3535 Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes harvest'? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 3636 And he that reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to Chayei Olam: that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together. 3737 And herein is that saying true: 'One sows, and another reaps.' 3838 I sent you to reap that whereon you bestowed no labor: other men labored, and you are entered into their labors." 3939 And many of the Shomronim of that city believed on him, for the saying of the woman, which testified, "He told me all that ever I did." 4040 So when the Shomronim were come to him, they besought him that he would stay with them: and he abode there two days. 4141 And many more believed because of his own word; 4242 And said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Mashiach , the Moshia (Savior) of the olam (world)." 4343 Now after two days he departed from there, and went into the Galil . 4444 For Yeshua himself testified that a navi has no honor in his own country. 4545 Then when he was come into the Galil , the Galilim (Galileans) received him, having seen all the things that he did at Yerushalayim at the Chag (Feast): for they also went to the Chag . 4646 So Yeshua came again into Kana of the Galil , where he made the water yayin (wine). And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at K'far Nachum (Capernaum). 4747 When he heard that Yeshua was come out of Yehudah into the Galil , he went to him, and besought him that he would come down and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 4848 Then said Yeshua to him, "Except you see otot (signs) and wonders, you will not believe." 4949 The nobleman said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies." 5050 Yeshua said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." And the man believed the word that Yeshua had spoken to him, and he went his way. 5151 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, "Your son lives." 5252 Then he inquired of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him." 5353 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Yeshua said to him, "Your son lives": and he himself believed, and his whole household. 5454 This is again the second ot (sign) that Yeshua did, when he was come out of Yehudah into the Galil .

11 After this there was a Chag (feast) of the Yehudim (Jews), and Yeshua went up to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). 22 Now there is at Yerushalayim by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Ivrit (Hebrew) tongue Beit Chesed (Bethesda), having five porches. 33 In these lay a great multitude of sick folk—blind, lame, withered—waiting for the moving of the water. 44 For a mal'ach (angel) went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had. 55 And a certain man was there, who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 66 When Yeshua saw him lying there, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, "Do you want to be made whole?" 77 The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me." 88 Yeshua said to him, "Rise, take up your mat, and walk." 99 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his mat, and walked. And on the same day was the Shabbat (Sabbath). 1010 The Yehudim therefore said to him that was cured, "It is the Shabbat day; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat." 1111 He answered them, "He that made me whole, the same said to me, 'Take up your mat, and walk.'" 1212 Then they asked him, "What man is that who said to you, 'Take up your mat, and walk'?" 1313 And he that was healed did not know who it was: for Yeshua had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. 1414 Afterward Yeshua found him in the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple), and said to him, "Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come to you." 1515 The man departed, and told the Yehudim that it was Yeshua who had made him whole. 1616 And therefore did the Yehudim persecute Yeshua , and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Shabbat . 1717 But Yeshua answered them, "My Av (Father) works until now, and I work." 1818 Therefore the Yehudim sought the more to kill him, not only because he had broken the Shabbat , but also said that Elohim was his Av , making himself equal with Elohim . 1919 Then answered Yeshua and said to them, " Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, The Ben (Son) can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Av doing: for whatever things the Av does, these also the Ben does likewise. 2020 For the Av loves the Ben , and shows him all things that he himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 2121 For as the Av raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Ben quickens whom he will. 2222 For the Av judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Ben : 2323 that all men should honor the Ben , even as they honor the Av . He that honors not the Ben honors not the Av who has sent him. 2424 Amein , amein I say to you, He that hears my davar (word), and believes on him that sent me, has Chayei Olam (everlasting life), and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life. 2525 Amein , amein I say to you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Ben Elohim (Son of God): and they that hear shall live. 2626 For as the Av has life in himself; so has he given to the Ben to have life in himself; 2727 and has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is Ben ha'Adam (the Son of Man). 2828 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 2929 and shall come forth: they that have done good, to the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, to the resurrection of din (judgment). 3030 I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Av who has sent me. 3131 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 3232 There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true. 3333 You sent to Yochanan (John), and he bore witness to the Emet (truth). 3434 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that you might be saved. 3535 He was a burning and a shining light: and you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 3636 But I have greater witness than that of Yochanan: for the works which the Av has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Av has sent me. 3737 And the Av himself, who has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form. 3838 And you do not have his davar abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him you believe not. 3939 Search the Ketuvim (Scriptures); for in them you think you have Chayei Olam : and they are they which testify of me. 4040 And you will not come to me, that you might have life. 4141 I receive not honor from men. 4242 But I know you, that you have not the ahavah (love) of Elohim in you. 4343 I am come in the Shem (Name) of my Av , and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. 4444 How can you believe, who receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from Elohim only? 4545 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Av : there is one that accuses you, even Moshe (Moses), in whom you trust. 4646 For had you believed Moshe , you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 4747 But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words?

11 After these things Yeshua went over the sea of the Galil (Galilee), which is the sea of Tiveryah (Tiberias). 22 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the otot (signs) which he did on those who were diseased. 33 And Yeshua went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his talmidim (disciples). 44 And the Pesach (Passover), a Chag (feast) of the Yehudim (Jews), was near. 55 When Yeshua then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company coming to him, he said to Philip , "From where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?" 66 (And this he said to test him: for he himself knew what he would do.) 77 Philip answered him, "Two hundred dinari (penny-worth) of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little." 88 One of his talmidim , Andreas (Andrew), Shimon Kefa's (Simon Peter's) brother, said to him, 99 "There is a lad here, who has five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?" 1010 And Yeshua said, "Make the men sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 1111 And Yeshua took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the talmidim , and the talmidim to those who were seated; and likewise of the fishes, as much as they would. 1212 When they were filled, he said to his talmidim , "Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost." 1313 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above to those who had eaten. 1414 Then those men, when they had seen the ot (sign) that Yeshua did, said, "This is of a truth that Navi (Prophet) that should come into the world." 1515 When Yeshua therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain, himself alone. 1616 And when evening was now come, his talmidim went down to the sea, 1717 and entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward K'far Nachum (Capernaum). And it was now dark, and Yeshua had not come to them. 1818 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. 1919 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea, and drawing near to the ship: and they were afraid. 2020 But he said to them, " Ani hu (It is I); be not afraid." 2121 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land to which they went. 2222 The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one into which his talmidim were entered, and that Yeshua went not with his talmidim into the boat, but that his talmidim were gone away alone; 2323 (however, there came other boats from Tiveryah near the place where they ate bread, after the Adon [Lord] had given thanks:) 2424 When the people therefore saw that Yeshua was not there, neither his talmidim , they also took ship, and came to K'far Nachum , seeking for Yeshua . 2525 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, " Rabbi , when did you come here?" 2626 Yeshua answered them and said, " Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, You seek me, not because you saw the otot , but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled. 2727 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures to Chayei Olam (everlasting life), which the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man) shall give to you: for on him has Elohim the Av (Father) set his seal." 2828 Then said they to him, "What shall we do, that we might work the works of Elohim ?" 2929 Yeshua answered and said to them, "This is the work of Elohim : that you believe on him whom he has sent." 3030 They said therefore to him, "What ot do you show then, that we may see, and believe you? What do you work? 3131 Our fathers ate the Man (Manna) in the wilderness; as it is written, 'He gave them lechem (bread) from Shamayim (heaven) to eat.' " 3232 Then Yeshua said to them, " Amein , amein I say to you, Moshe (Moses) gave you not that lechem from Shamayim ; but my Av gives you the true lechem from Shamayim . 3333 For the lechem Elohim is he who comes down from Shamayim , and gives life to the olam (world)." 3434 Then said they to him, " Adon , evermore give us this lechem ." 3535 And Yeshua said to them, " Anochi hu (I am) the Lechem ha'Chayim (Bread of Life): he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst. 3636 But I said to you, that you also have seen me, and believe not. 3737 All that the Av gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out. 3838 For I came down from Shamayim , not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. 3939 And this is the will of the Av who has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the Acharit ha'Yamim (Last Day). 4040 And this is the will of him that sent me: that every one who sees the Ben , and believes on him, may have Chayei Olam : and I will raise him up at the Acharit ha'Yamim ." 4141 The Yehudim then murmured at him, because he said, "I am the lechem which came down from Shamayim ." 4242 And they said, "Is not this Yeshua the son of Yosef (Joseph), whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he says, 'I came down from Shamayim '?" 4343 Yeshua therefore answered and said to them, "Murmur not among yourselves. 4444 No man can come to me, except the Av who has sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the Acharit ha'Yamim . 4545 It is written in the Nevi'im (Prophets), 'And they shall be all taught of Elohim .' Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Av , comes to me. 4646 Not that any man has seen the Av , except he who is from Elohim ; he has seen the Av . 4747 Amein , amein I say to you, He that believes on me has Chayei Olam . 4848 I am that Lechem ha'Chayim . 4949 Your fathers ate the Man in the wilderness, and are dead. 5050 This is the lechem which comes down from Shamayim , that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 5151 I am the Lechem Chai (living bread) which came down from Shamayim . If any man eat of this lechem , he shall live forever: and the lechem that I will give is my basar (flesh), which I will give for the life of the olam ." 5252 The Yehudim therefore strove among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his basar to eat?" 5353 Then Yeshua said to them, " Amein , amein I say to you, Except you eat the basar of the Ben ha'Adam , and drink his dam (blood), you have no chayim in you. 5454 Whoever eats my basar , and drinks my dam , has Chayei Olam ; and I will raise him up at the Acharit ha'Yamim . 5555 For my basar is food indeed, and my dam is drink indeed. 5656 He that eats my basar , and drinks my dam , dwells in me, and I in him. 5757 As the living Av has sent me, and I live by the Av : so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. 5858 This is that lechem which came down from Shamayim : not as your fathers ate the Man , and are dead: he that eats of this lechem shall live forever." 5959 These things he said in the Beit Knesset (synagogue), as he taught in K'far Nachum . 6060 Many therefore of his talmidim , when they had heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can hear it?" 6161 When Yeshua knew in himself that his talmidim murmured at it, he said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble? 6262 What then if you should see the Ben ha'Adam ascend up where he was before? 6363 It is the Ruach (Spirit) that gives life; the basar profits nothing: the devarim (words) that I speak to you, they are Ruach , and they are Chayim . 6464 But there are some of you that believe not." For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who would betray him. 6565 And he said, "Therefore said I to you, that no man can come to me, except it were given to him by my Av ." 6666 From that time many of his talmidim went back, and walked no more with him. 6767 Then said Yeshua to the Twelve, "Will you also go away?" 6868 Then Shimon Kefa (Simon Peter) answered him, " Adon , to whom shall we go? You have the words of Chayei Olam . 6969 And we believe and are sure that you are that Mashiach , the Ben Elohim Chai (Son of the living God)." 7070 Yeshua answered them, "Have not I chosen you Twelve, and one of you is a satan (accuser)?" 7171 He spoke of Yehudah (Judas) from K'riot (Iscariot), the son of Shimon : for he it was that should betray him, being one of the Twelve.

11 After these things, Yeshua walked in the Galil (Galilee): for he would not walk in Yehudah (Judea), because the Yehudim (Jews) sought to kill him. 22 Now the Chag ha'Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) of the Yehudim was at hand. 33 His brothers therefore said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Yehudah , that your talmidim (disciples) also may see the works that you do. 44 For there is no man who does anything in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the olam (world)." 55 For neither did his brothers believe in him. 66 Then Yeshua said to them, "My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. 77 The olam cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. 88 Go up to this Chag : I do not go up yet to this Chag , for my time is not yet fully come." 99 When he had said these words to them, he remained still in the Galil . 1010 But when his brothers were gone up, then he also went up to the Chag , not openly, but as it were in secret. 1111 Then the Yehudim sought him at the Chag , and said, "Where is he?" 1212 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, "He is a good man"; others said, "Nay, but he deceives the people." 1313 However, no man spoke openly of him, for fear of the Yehudim . 1414 Now about the middle of the Chag , Yeshua went up into the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple), and taught. 1515 And the Yehudim marveled, saying, "How does this man know the Sifrei (letters/Scriptures), having never learned?" 1616 Yeshua answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. 1717 If any man wills to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is from Elohim , or whether I speak of myself. 1818 He who speaks of himself seeks his own kavod (glory): but he who seeks the kavod of him who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 1919 Did not Moshe (Moses) give you the Torah (Law), and yet none of you keeps the Torah ? Why do you go about to kill me?" 2020 The people answered and said, "You have a shed (demon)! Who goes about to kill you?" 2121 Yeshua answered and said to them, "I have done one work, and you all marvel. 2222 Moshe therefore gave you Brit Milah (circumcision) (not because it is from Moshe , but from the fathers); and you on the Shabbat day circumcise a man. 2323 If a man on the Shabbat day receives Brit Milah , that the Torah of Moshe should not be broken; are you angry at me, because I have made a man entirely whole on the Shabbat day? 2424 Judge not according to outward appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." 2525 Then some of those from Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) said, "Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 2626 But look, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Mashiach (Christ)? 2727 However, we know this man where he is from: but when Mashiach comes, no man knows where he is from." 2828 Then cried Yeshua in the Beit ha'Mikdash as he taught, saying, "You both know me, and you know where I am from: and I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you know not. 2929 But I know him: for I am from him, and he has sent me." 3030 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his sha'ah (hour) was not yet come. 3131 And many of the people believed on him, and said, "When Mashiach comes, will he do more otot (signs) than these which this man has done?" 3232 The Perushim (Pharisees) heard that the people murmured such things concerning him: and the Perushim and the chief Kohanim (Priests) sent officers to take him. 3333 Then said Yeshua to them, "Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go to him who sent me. 3434 You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, there you cannot come." 3535 Then said the Yehudim among themselves, "Where will he go, that we shall not find him? Will he go to the Golah (dispersed) among the Goyim (Gentiles), and teach the Goyim ? 3636 What manner of saying is this that he said, 'You shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, there you cannot come'?" 3737 On the last day, that great day of the Chag , Yeshua stood and cried, saying, "If any man thirsts, let him come to me, and drink. 3838 He who believes on me, as the Ketuvim (Scripture) have said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Mayim Chayim (living water)." 3939 (But this he spoke of the Ruach [Spirit], which those who believe on him should receive: for the Ruach ha'Kodesh [Holy Spirit] was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified.) 4040 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, "Of a truth this is the Navi (Prophet)." 4141 Others said, "This is the Mashiach ." But some said, "Shall Mashiach come out of the Galil ? 4242 Has not the Ketuvim said that Mashiach comes of the zera (seed) of David , and out of the town of Beit Lechem (Bethlehem), where David was?" 4343 So there was division among the people because of him. 4444 And some of them would have taken him, but no man laid hands on him. 4545 Then came the officers to the chief Kohanim and Perushim ; and they said to them, "Why have you not brought him?" 4646 The officers answered, "Never did any man speak like this man." 4747 Then answered them the Perushim , "Are you also deceived? 4848 Have any of the rulers or of the Perushim believed on him? 4949 But this people who knows not the Torah are cursed." 5050 Nakdimon (Nicodemus) said to them, (he who came to Yeshua by night, being one of them,) 5151 "Does our Torah judge any man before it hears him, and knows what he does?" 5252 They answered and said to him, "Are you also from the Galil? Search, and look: for out of the Galil arises no navi (prophet)." 5353 And every man went to his own house.

11 Yeshua went to the Har ha'Zeytim (Mount of Olives). 22 And early in the morning he came again into the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple), and all the people came to him; and he sat down, and taught them. 33 And the Sofrim (Scribes) and Perushim (Pharisees) brought to him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 44 they said to him, " Rabbi , this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 55 Now Moshe (Moses) in the Torah (Law) commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what do you say?" 66 This they said, testing him, that they might have to accuse him. But Yeshua stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 77 So when they continued asking him, he lifted himself up, and said to them, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." 88 And again, he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 99 And they who heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even to the last: and Yeshua was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 1010 When Yeshua had lifted himself up, and saw none but the woman, he said to her, "Isha (Woman), where are those your accusers? Has no man condemned you?" 1111 She said, "No man, Adon (Lord)." And Yeshua said to her, "Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more." 1212 Then spoke Yeshua again to them, saying, " Anochi hu (I am) the Or ha'Olam (light of the world): he that follows me shall not walk in choshech (darkness), but shall have the Or ha'Chayim (light of life)." 1313 The Perushim therefore said to him, "You bear witness of yourself; your witness is not true." 1414 Yeshua answered and said to them, "Though I bear witness of myself, yet my witness is true: for I know where I came from, and where I go; but you cannot tell where I come from, and where I go. 1515 You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 1616 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Av (Father) that sent me. 1717 It is also written in your Torah , that the testimony of two men is true. 1818 I am one that bears witness of myself, and the Av that sent me bears witness of me." 1919 Then said they to him, "Where is your Av ?" Yeshua answered, "You neither know me, nor my Av : if you had known me, you should have known my Av also." 2020 These words spoke Yeshua in the treasury, as he taught in the Beit ha'Mikdash : and no man laid hands on him; for his sha'ah (hour) was not yet come. 2121 Then said Yeshua again to them, "I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: where I go, you cannot come." 2222 Then said the Yehudim (Jews), "Will he kill himself? Because he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come.'" 2323 And he said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this olam (world); I am not of this olam . 2424 I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that Ani hu (I am he), you shall die in your sins." 2525 Then said they to him, "Who are you?" And Yeshua said to them, "Even that which I said to you from the beginning. 2626 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he who sent me is true; and I speak to the olam those things which I have heard of him." 2727 They understood not that he spoke to them of the Av . 2828 Then said Yeshua to them, "When you have lifted up the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man), then shall you know that Ani hu (I am he), and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Av has taught me, I speak these things. 2929 And he who sent me is with me: the Av has not left me alone; for I always do those things that please him." 3030 As he spoke those words, many believed on him. 3131 Then said Yeshua to those Yehudim who believed on him, "If you continue in my davar (word), then are you my talmidim (disciples) indeed. 3232 And you shall know the Emet (truth), and the Emet shall make you free." 3333 They answered him, "We are the zera (seed) of Avraham (Abraham), and were never in bondage to any man: how do you say, 'You shall be made free'?" 3434 Yeshua answered them, " Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. 3535 And the servant does not abide in the house forever: but the Ben (Son) abides forever. 3636 If the Ben therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. 3737 I know that you are the zera of Avraham ; but you seek to kill me, because my davar has no place in you. 3838 I speak that which I have seen with my Av : and you do that which you have seen with your father." 3939 They answered and said to him, " Avraham is our father." Yeshua said to them, "If you were Avraham 's children, you would do the works of Avraham . 4040 But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the Emet , which I have heard from Elohim : this did not Avraham . 4141 You do the deeds of your father." Then said they to him, "We are not born of fornication; we have one Av , even Elohim ." 4242 Yeshua said to them, "If Elohim were your Av , you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from Elohim ; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 4343 Why do you not understand my speech? Even because you cannot hear my davar . 4444 You are of your father the satan (adversary), and the lusts of your father you will do: he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Emet , because there is no Emet in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 4545 And because I tell you the Emet, you believe me not. 4646 Which of you convicts me of sin? And if I speak the Emet , why do you not believe me? 4747 He that is of Elohim hears Elohim 's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of Elohim ." 4848 Then answered the Yehudim , and said to him, "Do we not say well that you are a Shomroni (Samaritan), and have a shed (demon)?" 4949 Yeshua answered, "I do not have a shed ; but I honor my Av , and you dishonor me. 5050 And I seek not my own kavod (glory): there is one that seeks and judges. 5151 Amein , amein I say to you, If a man keeps my davar , he shall never see death." 5252 Then said the Yehudim to him, "Now we know that you have a shed . Avraham is dead, and the Nevi'im (prophets); and you say, 'If a man keeps my davar , he shall never taste of death.' 5353 Are you greater than our father Avraham , who is dead? And the Nevi'im are dead: whom do you make yourself?" 5454 Yeshua answered, "If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Av that honors me; of whom you say, that he is your Elohim : 5555 yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like you: but I know him, and keep his davar . 5656 Your father Avraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." 5757 Then said the Yehudim to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Avraham ?" 5858 Yeshua said to them, " Amein , amein I say to you, Before Avraham was, Anochi hu (I am)." 5959 Then they took up stones to cast at him: but Yeshua hid himself, and went out of the Beit ha'Mikdash , going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

11 And as Yeshua passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. 22 And his talmidim (disciples) asked him, saying, " Rabbi , who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?" 33 Yeshua answered, "Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of Elohim should be made manifest in him. 44 I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day: the night comes when no man can work. 55 As long as I am in the olam (world), I am the Or ha'Olam (light of the world)." 66 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 77 and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Shiloach (Siloam)" (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. 88 The neighbors therefore, and they who before had seen him, that he was blind, said, "Is not this he who sat and begged?" 99 Some said, "This is he": others said, "He is like him": but he said, "I am he." 1010 Therefore said they to him, "How were your eyes opened?" 1111 He answered and said, "A man called Yeshua made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me, 'Go to the pool of Shiloach , and wash': and I went and washed, and I received sight." 1212 Then said they to him, "Where is he?" He said, "I know not." 1313 They brought to the Perushim (Pharisees) him who was formerly blind. 1414 And it was the Shabbat (Sabbath) day when Yeshua made the clay, and opened his eyes. 1515 Then again the Perushim also asked him how he had received his sight. He said to them, "He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and do see." 1616 Therefore said some of the Perushim , "This man is not from Elohim , because he keeps not the Shabbat ." Others said, "How can a man who is a sinner do such otot (signs)?" And there was a division among them. 1717 They said to the blind man again, "What do you say of him, that he has opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a Navi (Prophet)." 1818 But the Yehudim (Jews) did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight. 1919 And they asked them, saying, "Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?" 2020 His parents answered them, and said, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: 2121 but by what means he now sees, we know not; or who has opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself." 2222 These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Yehudim : for the Yehudim had agreed already, that if any man should confess that he was the Mashiach (Christ), he should be put out of the Beit Knesset (synagogue). 2323 Therefore said his parents, "He is of age; ask him." 2424 Then again they called the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give kavod (glory) to Elohim : we know that this man is a sinner." 2525 He answered and said, "Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see." 2626 Then they said to him again, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?" 2727 He answered them, "I have told you already, and you did not listen: why would you hear it again? Will you also be his talmidim ?" 2828 Then they reviled him, and said, "You are his talmid , but we are Moshe's (Moses') talmidim . 2929 We know that Elohim spoke to Moshe : as for this fellow, we know not where he is from." 3030 The man answered and said to them, "Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you know not where he is from, and yet he has opened my eyes. 3131 Now we know that Elohim does not hear sinners: but if any man is a worshipper of Elohim , and does his will, him he hears. 3232 Since the olam began it was not heard that any man opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 3333 If this man were not from Elohim , he could do nothing." 3434 They answered and said to him, "You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?" And they cast him out. 3535 Yeshua heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said to him, "Do you believe on the Ben Elohim (Son of God)?" 3636 He answered and said, "Who is he, Adon (Lord), that I might believe on him?" 3737 And Yeshua said to him, "You have both seen him, and it is he that talks with you." 3838 And he said, " Adon , I believe." And he worshipped him. 3939 And Yeshua said, "For judgment I am come into this olam , that they who see not might see; and that they who see might be made blind." 4040 And some of the Perushim who were with him heard these words, and said to him, "Are we blind also?" 4141 Yeshua said to them, "If you were blind, you should have no sin: but now you say, 'We see'; therefore your sin remains."

11 Amein , amein (Truly, truly) I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 22 But he that enters in by the door is the Ro’eh (Shepherd) of the sheep. 33 To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his kol (voice): and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 44 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his kol . 55 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the kol of strangers. 66 This mashal (parable) spoke Yeshua to them: but they understood not what things they were that he spoke to them. 77 Then said Yeshua to them again, Amein , amein I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 88 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 99 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 1010 The thief comes not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Chayim (life), and that they might have it more abundantly. 1111 I am the Ro’eh Tov (Good Shepherd): the Ro’eh Tov gives his nefesh (life/soul) for the sheep. 1212 But he that is a hireling, and not the Ro’eh , whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. 1313 The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep. 1414 I am the Ro’eh Tov , and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 1515 As ha’Av (the Father) knows me, even so I know ha’Av : and I lay down my nefesh for the sheep. 1616 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my kol ; and there shall be one fold, and one Ro’eh . 1717 Therefore does ha’Av love me, because I lay down my nefesh , that I might take it again. 1818 No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This mitzvah (commandment) have I received of ha’Av . 1919 There was a division therefore again among the Yehudim (Jews) for these sayings. 2020 And many of them said, He has a shed (demon), and is mad; why hear you him? 2121 Others said, These are not the words of him that has a shed . Can a shed open the eyes of the blind? 2222 And it was at Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) the Chag ha’Chanukah (Feast of Dedication), and it was winter. 2323 And Yeshua walked in the Beit ha’Mikdash (Temple) in Shelomoh's (Solomon's) porch. 2424 Then came the Yehudim round about him, and said to him, How long do you make us to doubt? If you are the Mashiach (Christ), tell us plainly. 2525 Yeshua answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Av's Shem (Name), they bear witness of me. 2626 But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you. 2727 My sheep hear my kol , and I know them, and they follow me: 2828 And I give to them Chayei Olam (Eternal Life); and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 2929 Ha’Av , who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Av's hand. 3030 I and ha’Av are echad (one). 3131 Then the Yehudim took up stones again to stone him. 3232 Yeshua answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Av ; for which of those works do you stone me? 3333 The Yehudim answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself Elohim (God). 3434 Yeshua answered them, Is it not written in your Torah (Law), I said, 'You are elohim' (gods)? 3535 If he called them elohim , to whom the Devar Elohim (Word of God) came, and the Scripture cannot be broken; 3636 Say you of him, whom ha’Av has sanctified, and sent into the olam (world), 'You blaspheme'; because I said, I am the Ben Elohim (Son of God)? 3737 If I do not the works of my Av , believe me not. 3838 But if I do, though you believe not me, believe the works: that you may know, and believe, that ha’Av is in me, and I in him. 3939 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, 4040 And went away again beyond the Yarden (Jordan), into the place where Yochanan (John) at first immersed; and there he abode. 4141 And many resorted to him, and said, Yochanan did no miracle: but all things that Yochanan spoke of this man were emet (true). 4242 And many believed on him there.

11 Now a certain man was sick, named Elazar (Lazarus), of Beit-Anyah (Bethany), the town of Miryam (Mary) and her sister Marta (Martha). 22 (It was that Miryam who anointed the Adon [Lord] with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Elazar was sick.) 33 Therefore his sisters sent to him, saying, " Adon , behold, he whom you love is sick." 44 When Yeshua heard that, he said, "This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of Elohim , that the Ben Elohim (Son of God) might be glorified thereby." 55 Now Yeshua loved Marta, and her sister, and Elazar. 66 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 77 Then after that he said to his talmidim (disciples), "Let us go into Yehudah (Judea) again." 88 His talmidim said to him, " Rabbi , the Yehudim (Jews) of late sought to stone you; and go you there again?" 99 Yeshua answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this olam (world). 1010 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him." 1111 These things said he: and after that he said to them, "Our friend Elazar sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep." 1212 Then said his talmidim , " Adon , if he sleeps, he shall do well." 1313 However, Yeshua spoke of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 1414 Then said Yeshua to them plainly, "Elazar is dead. 1515 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent you may believe; nevertheless let us go to him." 1616 Then said Tomas (Thomas), who is called Didymus, to his fellow talmidim , "Let us also go, that we may die with him." 1717 Then when Yeshua came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already. 1818 Now Beit-Anyah was near to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), about fifteen furlongs off: 1919 and many of the Yehudim came to Marta and Miryam, to comfort them concerning their brother. 2020 Then Marta, as soon as she heard that Yeshua was coming, went and met him: but Miryam sat still in the house. 2121 Then said Marta to Yeshua , " Adon , if you had been here, my brother had not died. 2222 But I know, that even now, whatever you will ask of Elohim , Elohim will give it you." 2323 Yeshua said to her, "Your brother shall rise again." 2424 Marta said to him, "I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the Acharit ha'Yamim (Last Day)." 2525 Yeshua said to her, " Anochi hu (I am) the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 2626 and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" 2727 She said to him, "Yes, Adon : I believe that you are the Mashiach (Christ), the Ben Elohim , who should come into the olam." 2828 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Miryam her sister secretly, saying, "The Rabbi is come, and calls for you." 2929 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came to him. 3030 Now Yeshua was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Marta met him. 3131 The Yehudim then who were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Miryam, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, "She goes to the grave to weep there." 3232 Then when Miryam was come where Yeshua was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, " Adon , if you had been here, my brother had not died." 3333 When Yeshua therefore saw her weeping, and the Yehudim also weeping who came with her, he groaned in the ruach (spirit), and was troubled, 3434 and said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, " Adon , come and see." 3535 Yeshua wept. 3636 Then said the Yehudim , "Behold how he loved him!" 3737 And some of them said, "Could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?" 3838 Yeshua therefore again groaning in himself comes to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 3939 Yeshua said, "Take away the stone." Marta, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, " Adon , by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days." 4040 Yeshua said to her, "Said I not to you, that, if you would believe, you should see the kavod (glory) of Elohim?" 4141 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Yeshua lifted up his eyes, and said, " Av (Father), I thank you that you have heard me. 4242 And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people who stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me." 4343 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, "Elazar, come forth!" 4444 And he who was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Yeshua said to them, "Loose him, and let him go." 4545 Then many of the Yehudim who came to Miryam, and had seen the things which Yeshua did, believed on him. 4646 But some of them went their ways to the Perushim (Pharisees), and told them what things Yeshua had done. 4747 Then gathered the chief Kohanim (Priests) and the Perushim a council, and said, "What do we? For this man does many otot (signs). 4848 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation." 4949 And one of them, named Kayafa (Caiaphas), being the Kohen Gadol (High Priest) that same year, said to them, "You know nothing at all, 5050 nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not." 5151 And this spoke he not of himself: but being Kohen Gadol that year, he prophesied that Yeshua should die for that nation; 5252 and not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of Elohim who were scattered abroad. 5353 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. 5454 Yeshua therefore walked no more openly among the Yehudim ; but went there to a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Efrayim (Ephraim), and there continued with his talmidim . 5555 And the Pesach (Passover) of the Yehudim was near: and many went out of the country up to Yerushalayim before the Pesach, to purify themselves. 5656 Then sought they for Yeshua , and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple), "What think you, that he will not come to the Chag (feast)?" 5757 Now both the chief Kohanim and the Perushim had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him.

11 Then Yeshua six days before the Pesach (Passover) came to Beit-Anyah (Bethany), where Elazar (Lazarus) was who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 22 There they made him a supper; and Marta (Martha) served: but Elazar was one of them who sat at the table with him. 33 Then took Miryam (Mary) a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Yeshua , and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment. 44 Then said one of his talmidim (disciples), Yehudah (Judas) from K'riot (Iscariot), Shimon's son, who should betray him, 55 "Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred dinari (pence), and given to the poor?" 66 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bore what was put therein. 77 Then said Yeshua , "Let her alone: against the day of my burying has she kept this. 88 For the poor always you have with you; but me you have not always." 99 Much people of the Yehudim (Jews) therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Yeshua 's sake only, but that they might see Elazar also, whom he had raised from the dead. 1010 But the chief Kohanim (Priests) consulted that they might put Elazar also to death; 1111 because that by reason of him many of the Yehudim went away, and believed on Yeshua . 1212 On the next day much people that were come to the Chag (feast), when they heard that Yeshua was coming to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), 1313 took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, "Hoshia-na (Hosanna): Blessed is the Melech (King) of Yisra'el (Israel) that comes in the Shem (Name) of the Adon (Lord)." 1414 And Yeshua , when he had found a young donkey, sat thereon; as it is written, 1515 "Fear not, daughter of Tziyon (Zion): behold, your Melech comes, sitting on an ass's colt." 1616 These things understood not his talmidim at the first: but when Yeshua was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things to him. 1717 The people therefore who were with him when he called Elazar out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bore record. 1818 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this ot (sign). 1919 The Perushim (Pharisees) therefore said among themselves, "Perceive you how you prevail nothing? Behold, the olam (world) is gone after him." 2020 And there were certain Greeks among them who came up to worship at the Chag : 2121 the same came therefore to Philip , who was of Beit-Tzaida (Bethsaida) of the Galil (Galilee), and desired him, saying, " Adon , we would see Yeshua ." 2222 Philip comes and tells Andreas (Andrew): and again Andreas and Philip tell Yeshua . 2323 And Yeshua answered them, saying, "The sha'ah (hour) is come, that the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man) should be glorified. 2424 Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit. 2525 He that loves his nefesh (life) shall lose it; and he that hates his nefesh in this olam shall keep it to Chayei Olam (everlasting life). 2626 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Av (Father) honor. 2727 Now is my nefesh troubled; and what shall I say? Av , save me from this sha'ah : but for this cause came I to this sha'ah . 2828 Av , glorify your Shem." Then came there a voice from Shamayim (heaven), saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." 2929 The people therefore, who stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, "An angel spoke to him." 3030 Yeshua answered and said, "This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 3131 Now is the judgment of this olam : now shall the sar (prince) of this olam be cast out. 3232 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to me." 3333 (This he said, signifying what death he should die.) 3434 The people answered him, "We have heard out of the Torah (Law) that Mashiach (Christ) abides forever: and how say you, 'The Ben ha'Adam must be lifted up'? Who is this Ben ha'Adam ?" 3535 Then Yeshua said to them, "Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not where he goes. 3636 While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light." These things spoke Yeshua , and departed, and did hide himself from them. 3737 But though he had done so many otot before them, yet they believed not on him: 3838 that the saying of Yeshayahu (Isaiah) the navi (prophet) might be fulfilled, which he spoke, " Adon , who has believed our report? And to whom has the zeroa (arm) of the Adon been revealed?" 3939 Therefore they could not believe, because that Yeshayahu said again, 4040 "He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." 4141 These things said Yeshayahu, when he saw his kavod , and spoke of him. 4242 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Perushim they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the Beit Knesset (synagogue): 4343 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of Elohim . 4444 Yeshua cried and said, "He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him who sent me. 4545 And he that sees me sees him who sent me. 4646 I am come a light into the olam , that whoever believes on me should not abide in darkness. 4747 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the olam , but to save the olam . 4848 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the davar (word) that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the Acharit ha'Yamim (Last Day). 4949 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Av who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 5050 And I know that his mitzvah (commandment) is Chayei Olam : whatever I speak therefore, even as the Av said to me, so I speak."

11 Now before the Chag (feast) of the Pesach (Passover), when Yeshua knew that his sha'ah (hour) was come that he should depart out of this olam (world) to the Av (Father), having loved his own who were in the olam , he loved them to the end. 22 And supper being ended, the satan (adversary) having now put into the heart of Yehudah (Judas) from K'riot (Iscariot), Shimon's son, to betray him; 33 Yeshua knowing that the Av had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from Elohim , and went to Elohim ; 44 he rises from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 55 After that he pours water into a basin, and began to wash the talmidim (disciples)' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded. 66 Then comes he to Shimon Kefa (Simon Peter): and Kefa said to him, " Adon , do you wash my feet?" 77 Yeshua answered and said to him, "What I do you know not now; but you shall know hereafter." 88 Kefa said to him, "You shall never wash my feet." Yeshua answered him, "If I wash you not, you have no part with me." 99 Shimon Kefa said to him, " Adon , not my feet only, but also my hands and my head." 1010 Yeshua said to him, "He that is washed needs not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and you are clean, but not all." 1111 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, "You are not all clean." 1212 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said to them, "Know you what I have done to you? 1313 You call me Rabbi and Adon : and you say well; for so I am. 1414 If I then, your Adon and Rabbi , have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet. 1515 For I have given you a d'ugma (example), that you should do as I have done to you. 1616 Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, The servant is not greater than his Adon ; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 1717 If you know these things, happy are you if you do them. 1818 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the Ketuvim (Scripture) may be fulfilled, 'He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.' 1919 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, you may believe that Ani hu (I am he). 2020 Amein , amein I say to you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him who sent me." 2121 When Yeshua had thus said, he was troubled in ruach (spirit), and testified, and said, "Amein, amein I say to you, that one of you shall betray me." 2222 Then the talmidim looked one on another, doubting of whom he spoke. 2323 Now there was leaning on Yeshua 's bosom one of his talmidim , whom Yeshua loved. 2424 Shimon Kefa therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spoke. 2525 He then lying on Yeshua 's breast said to him, " Adon , who is it?" 2626 Yeshua answered, "He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it." And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Yehudah , the son of Shimon from K'riot. 2727 And after the sop satan entered into him. Then said Yeshua to him, "That you do, do quickly." 2828 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spoke this to him. 2929 For some of them thought, because Yehudah had the bag, that Yeshua had said to him, "Buy those things that we have need of against the Chag ;" or, that he should give something to the poor. 3030 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. 3131 Therefore, when he was gone out, Yeshua said, "Now is the Ben ha'Adam (Son of Man) glorified, and Elohim is glorified in him. 3232 If Elohim be glorified in him, Elohim shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. 3333 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said to the Yehudim , 'Where I go, you cannot come;' so now I say to you. 3434 A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 3535 By this shall all men know that you are my talmidim , if you have love one to another." 3636 Shimon Kefa said to him, " Adon , where do you go?" Yeshua answered him, "Where I go, you cannot follow me now; but you shall follow me afterwards." 3737 Kefa said to him, " Adon , why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life for your sake." 3838 Yeshua answered him, "Will you lay down your life for my sake? Amein, amein I say to you, The cock shall not crow, till you have denied me thrice."

11 "Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in Elohim , believe also in me. 22 In my Av (Father)'s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 33 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 44 And where I go you know, and the way you know." 55 Tomas (Thomas) said to him, " Adon , we know not where you go; and how can we know the way?" 66 Yeshua said to him, " Anochi hu (I am) the Derech (Way), the Emet (Truth), and the Chayim (Life): no man comes to the Av , but by me. 77 If you had known me, you should have known my Av also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him." 88 Philip said to him, " Adon , show us the Av , and it suffices us." 99 Yeshua said to him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Av ; and how say you then, 'Show us the Av'? 1010 Believe you not that I am in the Av , and the Av in me? The words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Av that dwells in me, he does the works. 1111 Believe me that I am in the Av , and the Av in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 1212 Amein , amein (verily, verily) I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Av . 1313 And whatever you shall ask in my Shem (Name), that will I do, that the Av may be glorified in the Ben (Son). 1414 If you shall ask any thing in my Shem, I will do it. 1515 If you love me, keep my mitzvot (commandments). 1616 And I will pray the Av , and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 1717 even the Ruach ha'Emet (Spirit of Truth); whom the olam (world) cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. 1818 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 1919 Yet a little while, and the olam sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. 2020 At that day you shall know that I am in my Av , and you in me, and I in you. 2121 He that has my mitzvot , and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Av , and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." 2222 Yehudah said to him, (not Yehudah from K'riot [Iscariot],) " Adon , how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the olam ?" 2323 Yeshua answered and said to him, "If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Av will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him. 2424 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Av 's which sent me. 2525 These things have I spoken to you, being yet present with you. 2626 But the Comforter, which is the Ruach ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit), whom the Av will send in my Shem , he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you. 2727 Shalom (Peace) I leave with you, my shalom I give to you: not as the olam gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 2828 You have heard how I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Av : for my Av is greater than I. 2929 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe. 3030 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the sar (prince) of this olam comes, and has nothing in me. 3131 But that the olam may know that I love the Av ; and as the Av gave me mitzvah , even so I do. Arise, let us go hence."

11 "I am the true vine, and my Av (Father) is the husbandman. 22 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 33 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken to you. 44 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. 55 I am the vine, you are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. 66 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 77 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. 88 Herein is my Av glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my talmidim (disciples). 99 As the Av has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. 1010 If you keep my mitzvot (commandments), you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Av 's mitzvot , and abide in his love. 1111 These things have I spoken to you, that my simcha (joy) might remain in you, and that your simcha might be full. 1212 This is my mitzvah , That you love one another, as I have loved you. 1313 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his nefesh (life/soul) for his friends. 1414 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. 1515 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his adon (lord) does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Av I have made known to you. 1616 You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you shall ask of the Av in my Shem (Name), he may give it you. 1717 These things I command you, that you love one another. 1818 If the olam (world) hate you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. 1919 If you were of the olam , the olam would love his own: but because you are not of the olam , but I have chosen you out of the olam , therefore the olam hates you. 2020 Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his adon . If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 2121 But all these things will they do to you for my Shem 's sake, because they know not him who sent me. 2222 If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 2323 He that hates me hates my Av also. 2424 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Av . 2525 But this comes to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their Torah (Law), 'They hated me without a cause.' 2626 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Av , even the Ruach ha'Emet (Spirit of Truth), which proceeds from the Av , he shall testify of me: 2727 And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning."

11 "These things have I spoken to you, that you should not be offended. 22 They shall put you out of the Beit Knesset (synagogue): yes, the time comes, that whoever kills you will think that he does Elohim (God) service. 33 And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Av (Father), nor me. 44 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not to you at the beginning, because I was with you. 55 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, 'Where do you go?' 66 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 77 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. 88 And when he is come, he will reprove the olam (world) of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 99 of sin, because they believe not on me; 1010 of righteousness, because I go to my Av, and you see me no more; 1111 of judgment, because the sar (prince) of this olam is judged. 1212 I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 1313 However when he, the Ruach ha'Emet (Spirit of Truth), is come, he will guide you into all emet (truth): for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 1414 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it to you. 1515 All things that the Av has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it to you. 1616 A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to the Av. 1717 Then said some of his talmidim (disciples) among themselves, "What is this that he says to us, 'A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me: and, Because I go to the Av'?" 1818 They said therefore, "What is this that he says, 'A little while'? We cannot tell what he says." 1919 Now Yeshua knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said to them, "Do you inquire among yourselves of that I said, 'A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me'? 2020 Amein, amein (verily, verily) I say to you, That you shall weep and lament, but the olam shall rejoice: and you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into simcha (joy). 2121 A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her sha'ah (hour) is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for simcha that a man is born into the olam. 2222 And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your simcha no man takes from you. 2323 And in that day you shall ask me nothing. Amein, amein I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Av in my Shem (Name), he will give it you. 2424 Hitherto have you asked nothing in my Shem: ask, and you shall receive, that your simcha may be full. 2525 These things have I spoken to you in proverbs: but the time comes, when I shall no more speak to you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Av. 2626 At that day you shall ask in my Shem: and I say not to you, that I will pray the Av for you: 2727 for the Av himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from Elohim. 2828 I came forth from the Av, and am come into the olam: again, I leave the olam, and go to the Av. 2929 His talmidim said to him, "Lo, now speak you plainly, and speak no proverb. 3030 Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: by this we believe that you came forth from Elohim." 3131 Yeshua answered them, "Do you now believe? 3232 Behold, the sha'ah comes, yes, is now come, that you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Av is with me. 3333 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have shalom (peace). In the olam you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the olam."

11 These words spoke Yeshua, and lifted up his eyes to Shamayim (heaven), and said, "Av (Father), the sha'ah (hour) is come; glorify your Ben (Son), that your Ben also may glorify you: 22 as you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give Chayei Olam (everlasting life) to as many as you have given him. 33 And this is Chayei Olam, that they might know you the only true Elohim, and Yeshua Mashiach (Christ), whom you have sent. 44 I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do. 55 And now, O Av, glorify you me with your own self with the kavod (glory) which I had with you before the olam (world) was. 66 I have manifested your Shem (Name) to the men whom you gave me out of the olam: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word. 77 Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are of you. 88 For I have given to them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me. 99 I pray for them: I pray not for the olam, but for them whom you have given me; for they are yours. 1010 And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorified in them. 1111 And now I am no more in the olam, but these are in the olam, and I come to you. Holy Av, keep through your own Shem those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are. 1212 While I was with them in the olam, I kept them in your Shem: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the ben of perdition; that the Ketuvim (Scripture) might be fulfilled. 1313 And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the olam, that they might have my simcha (joy) fulfilled in themselves. 1414 I have given them your word; and the olam has hated them, because they are not of the olam, even as I am not of the olam. 1515 I pray not that you should take them out of the olam, but that you should keep them from the evil. 1616 They are not of the olam, even as I am not of the olam. 1717 Sanctify them through your emet (truth): your word is emet. 1818 As you have sent me into the olam, even so have I also sent them into the olam. 1919 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the emet. 2020 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also who shall believe on me through their word; 2121 that they all may be one; as you, Av, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the olam may believe that you have sent me. 2222 And the kavod which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 2323 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the olam may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me. 2424 Av, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my kavod, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the olam. 2525 O righteous Av, the olam has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me. 2626 And I have declared to them your Shem, and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them."

11 When Yeshua had spoken these words, he went forth with his talmidim (disciples) over the brook Kedron (Kidron), where was a garden, into which he entered, and his talmidim. 22 And Yehudah (Judas) also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Yeshua ofttimes resorted there with his talmidim. 33 Yehudah then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief Kohanim (Priests) and Perushim (Pharisees), comes there with lanterns and torches and weapons. 44 Yeshua therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said to them, "Whom seek you?" 55 They answered him, "Yeshua of Natzeret (Nazareth)." Yeshua said to them, " Ani hu (I am he)." And Yehudah also, who betrayed him, stood with them. 66 As soon then as he had said to them, "Ani hu," they went backward, and fell to the ground. 77 Then asked he them again, "Whom seek you?" And they said, "Yeshua of Natzeret." 88 Yeshua answered, "I have told you that I am he: if therefore you seek me, let these go their way:" 99 that the saying might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Of them whom you gave me have I lost none." 1010 Then Shimon Kefa (Simon Peter) having a sword drew it, and smote the Kohen Gadol (High Priest)'s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. 1111 Then said Yeshua to Kefa, "Put up your sword into the sheath: the cup which my Av (Father) has given me, shall I not drink it?" 1212 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Yehudim (Jews) took Yeshua, and bound him, 1313 and led him away to Chanan (Annas) first; for he was father in law to Kayafa (Caiaphas), who was the Kohen Gadol that same year. 1414 Now Kayafa was he, who gave counsel to the Yehudim, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. 1515 And Shimon Kefa followed Yeshua, and so did another talmid: that talmid was known to the Kohen Gadol, and went in with Yeshua into the palace of the Kohen Gadol. 1616 But Kefa stood at the door without. Then went out that other talmid, who was known to the Kohen Gadol, and spoke to her that kept the door, and brought in Kefa. 1717 Then said the damsel who kept the door to Kefa, "Are not you also one of this man's talmidim?" He said, "I am not." 1818 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Kefa stood with them, and warmed himself. 1919 The Kohen Gadol then asked Yeshua of his talmidim, and of his doctrine. 2020 Yeshua answered him, "I spoke openly to the olam (world); I ever taught in the Beit Knesset (synagogue), and in the Beit ha'Mikdash (Temple), where all the Yehudim resort; and in secret have I said nothing. 2121 Why ask you me? Ask them who heard me, what I have said to them: behold, they know what I said." 2222 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers who stood by struck Yeshua with the palm of his hand, saying, "Answer you the Kohen Gadol so?" 2323 Yeshua answered him, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smite you me?" 2424 Now Chanan had sent him bound to Kayafa the Kohen Gadol. 2525 And Shimon Kefa stood and warmed himself. They said therefore to him, "Are not you also one of his talmidim?" He denied it, and said, "I am not." 2626 One of the servants of the Kohen Gadol, being his kinsman whose ear Kefa cut off, said, "Did not I see you in the garden with him?" 2727 Kefa then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. 2828 Then led they Yeshua from Kayafa to the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the Pesach (Passover). 2929 Pilatus (Pilate) then went out to them, and said, "What accusation bring you against this man?" 3030 They answered and said to him, "If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up to you." 3131 Then said Pilatus to them, "Take you him, and judge him according to your Torah (Law)." The Yehudim therefore said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:" 3232 that the saying of Yeshua might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying what death he should die. 3333 Then Pilatus entered into the judgment hall again, and called Yeshua, and said to him, "Are you the Melech (King) of the Yehudim?" 3434 Yeshua answered him, "Say you this thing of yourself, or did others tell it you of me?" 3535 Pilatus answered, "Am I a Yehudi (Jew)? Your own nation and the chief Kohanim have delivered you to me: what have you done?" 3636 Yeshua answered, "My malchut (kingdom) is not of this olam: if my malchut were of this olam, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Yehudim: but now is my malchut not from hence." 3737 Pilatus therefore said to him, "Are you a melech then?" Yeshua answered, "You say that I am a melech. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the olam, that I should bear witness to the emet (truth). Everyone that is of the emet hears my voice." 3838 Pilatus said to him, "What is emet?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Yehudim, and said to them, "I find in him no fault at all. 3939 But you have a custom, that I should release to you one at the Pesach: will you therefore that I release to you the Melech of the Yehudim?" 4040 Then cried they all again, saying, "Not this man, but Bar-Abba (Barabbas)." Now Bar-Abba was a robber.

11 Then Pilatus (Pilate) therefore took Yeshua, and scourged him. 22 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 33 and said, "Hail, Melech (King) of the Yehudim (Jews)!" and they smote him with their hands. 44 Pilatus therefore went forth again, and said to them, "Behold, I bring him forth to you, that you may know that I find no fault in him." 55 Then came Yeshua forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilatus said to them, "Behold the man!" 66 When the chief Kohanim (Priests) therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, "Crucify him, crucify him." Pilatus said to them, "Take you him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him." 77 The Yehudim answered him, "We have a Torah (Law), and by our Torah he ought to die, because he made himself the Ben Elohim (Son of God)." 88 When Pilatus therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; 99 and went again into the judgment hall, and said to Yeshua, "Whence are you?" But Yeshua gave him no answer. 1010 Then said Pilatus to him, "Speak you not to me? Know you not that I have power to crucify you, and have power to release you?" 1111 Yeshua answered, "You could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above: therefore he that delivered me to you has the greater sin." 1212 And from then on Pilatus sought to release him: but the Yehudim cried out, saying, "If you let this man go, you are not Caesar's friend: whoever makes himself a melech (king) speaks against Caesar." 1313 When Pilatus therefore heard that saying, he brought Yeshua forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Ivrit (Hebrew), Gabbatha. 1414 And it was the preparation of the Pesach (Passover), and about the sixth hour: and he said to the Yehudim, "Behold your Melech!" 1515 But they cried out, "Away with him, away with him, crucify him." Pilatus said to them, "Shall I crucify your Melech?" The chief Kohanim answered, "We have no melech but Caesar." 1616 Then delivered he him therefore to them to be crucified. And they took Yeshua, and led him away. 1717 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Ivrit Golgotha: 1818 where they crucified him, and two others with him, on either side one, and Yeshua in the midst. 1919 And Pilatus wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, YESHUA OF NATZERET (NAZARETH) THE MELECH OF THE YEHUDIM. 2020 This title then read many of the Yehudim: for the place where Yeshua was crucified was near to the city: and it was written in Ivrit, and Greek, and Latin. 2121 Then said the chief Kohanim of the Yehudim to Pilatus, "Write not, The Melech of the Yehudim; but that he said, I am Melech of the Yehudim." 2222 Pilatus answered, "What I have written I have written." 2323 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Yeshua, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 2424 They said therefore among themselves, "Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be:" that the Ketuvim (Scripture) might be fulfilled, which said, "They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots." These things therefore the soldiers did. 2525 Now there stood by the cross of Yeshua his mother, and his mother's sister, Miryam (Mary) the wife of Klopas, and Miryam from Magdala. 2626 When Yeshua therefore saw his mother, and the talmid standing by, whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold your son!" 2727 Then said he to the talmid, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour that talmid took her to his own home. 2828 After this, Yeshua knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Ketuvim might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst." 2929 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. 3030 When Yeshua therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ruach (spirit). 3131 The Yehudim therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Shabbat (Sabbath) day, (for that Shabbat day was a high day,) besought Pilatus that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 3232 Then came the soldiers, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him. 3333 But when they came to Yeshua, and saw that he was dead already, they broke not his legs: 3434 but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 3535 And he that saw it bore record, and his record is true: and he knows that he says true, that you might believe. 3636 For these things were done, that the Ketuvim should be fulfilled, "A bone of him shall not be broken." 3737 And again another Ketuvim said, "They shall look on him whom they pierced." 3838 And after this Yosef (Joseph) from Ramatayim, being a talmid of Yeshua, but secretly for fear of the Yehudim, besought Pilatus that he might take away the body of Yeshua: and Pilatus gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Yeshua. 3939 And there came also Nakdimon (Nicodemus), who at the first came to Yeshua by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pound weight. 4040 Then took they the body of Yeshua, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Yehudim is to bury. 4141 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulcher, wherein was never man yet laid. 4242 There laid they Yeshua therefore because of the Yehudim's preparation day; for the sepulcher was near at hand.

11 The first day of the week comes Miryam (Mary) from Magdala early, when it was yet dark, to the sepulcher, and sees the stone taken away from the sepulcher. 22 Then she runs, and comes to Shimon Kefa (Simon Peter), and to the other talmid (disciple), whom Yeshua loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Adon (Lord) out of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have laid him." 33 Kefa therefore went forth, and that other talmid, and came to the sepulcher. 44 So they ran both together: and the other talmid did outrun Kefa, and came first to the sepulcher. 55 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 66 Then comes Shimon Kefa following him, and went into the sepulcher, and sees the linen clothes lie, 77 and the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 88 Then went in also that other talmid, who came first to the sepulcher, and he saw, and believed. 99 For as yet they knew not the Ketuvim (Scripture), that he must rise again from the dead. 1010 Then the talmidim went away again to their own home. 1111 But Miryam stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, 1212 and sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Yeshua had lain. 1313 And they said to her, "Woman, why weep you?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Adon, and I know not where they have laid him." 1414 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Yeshua standing, and knew not that it was Yeshua. 1515 Yeshua said to her, "Woman, why weep you? Whom seek you?" She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, "Adon, if you have borne him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away." 1616 Yeshua said to her, "Miryam." She turned herself, and said to him, "Rabboni;" (which is to say, Teacher.) 1717 Yeshua said to her, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Av (Father): but go to my brothers, and say to them, I ascend to my Av, and your Av; and to my Elohim, and your Elohim." 1818 Miryam from Magdala came and told the talmidim that she had seen the Adon, and that he had spoken these things to her. 1919 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the talmidim were assembled for fear of the Yehudim (Jews), came Yeshua and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Shalom (Peace) be to you." 2020 And when he had so said, he showed to them his hands and his side. Then were the talmidim glad, when they saw the Adon. 2121 Then said Yeshua to them again, "Shalom be to you: as my Av has sent me, even so send I you." 2222 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive you the Ruach ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit): 2323 whose soever sins you remit, they are remitted to them; and whose soever sins you retain, they are retained." 2424 But Tomas (Thomas), one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Yeshua came. 2525 The other talmidim therefore said to him, "We have seen the Adon." But he said to them, "Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe." 2626 And after eight days again his talmidim were within, and Tomas with them: then came Yeshua, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Shalom be to you." 2727 Then said he to Tomas, "Reach here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing." 2828 And Tomas answered and said to him, "My Adon and my Elohim." 2929 Yeshua said to him, "Tomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." 3030 And many other otot (signs) truly did Yeshua in the presence of his talmidim, which are not written in this book: 3131 but these are written, that you might believe that Yeshua is the Mashiach, the Ben Elohim; and that believing you might have life through his Shem (Name).

11 After these things Yeshua showed himself again to the talmidim at the sea of Tveriyah (Tiberias); and on this wise showed he himself. 22 There were together Shimon Kefa (Simon Peter), and Tomas (Thomas) called Didymus, and Netanel (Nathanael) of Kana (Cana) in Galil (Galilee), and the sons of Zavdai (Zebedee), and two other of his talmidim. 33 Shimon Kefa said to them, "I go a fishing." They said to him, "We also go with you." They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 44 But when the morning was now come, Yeshua stood on the shore: but the talmidim knew not that it was Yeshua. 55 Then Yeshua said to them, "Children, have you any meat?" They answered him, "No." 66 And he said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find." They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 77 Therefore that talmid whom Yeshua loved said to Kefa, "It is the Adon." Now when Shimon Kefa heard that it was the Adon, he girt his fisher's coat to him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 88 And the other talmidim came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 99 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 1010 Yeshua said to them, "Bring of the fish which you have now caught." 1111 Shimon Kefa went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 1212 Yeshua said to them, "Come and dine." And none of the talmidim dared ask him, "Who are you?" knowing that it was the Adon. 1313 Yeshua then comes, and takes bread, and gives them, and fish likewise. 1414 This is now the third time that Yeshua showed himself to his talmidim, after that he was risen from the dead. 1515 So when they had dined, Yeshua said to Shimon Kefa, "Shimon, son of Yona, love you me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Adon; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." 1616 He said to him again the second time, "Shimon, son of Yona, love you me?" He said to him, "Yes, Adon; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep." 1717 He said to him the third time, "Shimon, son of Yona, love you me?" Kefa was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Love you me?" And he said to him, "Adon, you know all things; you know that I love you." Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep. 1818 Amein, amein (verily, verily) I say to you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked wherever you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you wherever you would not." 1919 This spoke he, signifying by what death he should glorify Elohim. And when he had spoken this, he said to him, "Follow me." 2020 Then Kefa, turning about, sees the talmid whom Yeshua loved following; who also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, "Adon, who is he that betrays you?" 2121 Kefa seeing him said to Yeshua, "Adon, and what shall this man do?" 2222 Yeshua said to him, "If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you? Follow you me." 2323 Then went this saying abroad among the brothers, that that talmid should not die: yet Yeshua said not to him, 'He shall not die;' but, 'If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you?' 2424 This is the talmid who testifies of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. 2525 And there are also many other things which Yeshua did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the olam itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amein.
